Notice of Annual General Meeting

The next Annual General Meeting of Tayport Community Trust will be held on Thursday 1st February 2024 at 7:00 pm in the Larick Café, Shanwell Road, Tayport DD6 9EA. The format will be as follows:

7:00pm: AGM
7:40pm: Networking and refreshments
8:30pm: Close

Please note that the AGM is very important for the continuation of our activities and we cannot enact business unless there are sufficient members present, so we do hope that you will be able to participate. There are no proposals or resolutions to make any changes to the governance or operation of Tayport Community Trust.

Election of Trustees

Nominations for the position of Elected Trustee are invited. Nominees for Elected Trustee must be ordinary members, or eligible to be ordinary members, of the Trust and must confirm that if elected they are willing to act as an Elected Trustee. Nominators must be Ordinary Members of the Trust.

A Trustee nomination form and application pack are available on our website via the link at the end of this notice. Completed forms must be presented, no later than Thursday 25^th January 2024, by post or hand for the attention of Richard Tough, Tayport Community Trust, c/o Harbour Café, 10 Broad Street, Tayport DD6 9AJ or by email to same at trustees@tayportct.org.uk. A full list of Nominated Trustees will be posted here on Friday 26th January 2024 and nominees will be presented for election at the AGM.

Co-opted Trustees

The Memorandum and Articles of Association for Tayport Community Trust allow up to 5 co-opted Trustees.

Proxy votes

If Members are unable to participate in the AGM they may appoint a proxy to participate on their behalf. A proxy form which explains the procedure is available for download from our website via the link at the end of this notice.

Accounts

Tayport Community Trust Director’s Report and Consolidated Financial Statements for the year ending 31^st March 2023 will be presented at the meeting and may be viewed in advance on our website via the link at the end of this notice.
