Notice of Annual General Meeting
The next Annual General Meeting of Tayport Community Trust and Tayport Community and Sports Centre Action Group will be held on Friday 6th December 2019 at 7:00 pm in the Tayport Parish Church hall. The format will be as follows:
- 7:00pm: AGM
- 7:30pm: Networking and refreshments
- 8:30pm: Close
There are no proposals or resolutions to make any changes to the governance or operation of Tayport Community Trust.
Election of Trustees
Nominations for the position of Elected Trustee are invited. Nominees for Elected Trustee must be ordinary members, or eligible to be ordinary members, of the Trust and must confirm that if elected they are willing to act as an Elected Trustee. Nominators must be Ordinary Members of the Trust.
A Trustee nomination form and application pack can be downloaded via the link at the end of this notice. Completed forms must be presented, no later than Friday 29th November 2019, by post or hand for the attention of Richard Tough, Vice-Chair of the Board, Tayport Community Trust, c/o Harbour Café, 10 Broad Street, Tayport DD6 9AJ or by email to same at enquiries@TayportCT.org.uk. Nominated Trustees will be presented for election at the AGM. A full list of nominations will be posted at the end of this notice on Monday 2nd December 2019.
Co-opted Trustees
The Memorandum and Articles of Association for Tayport Community Trust allow up to 5 co-opted Trustees. Andrew Arbuckle wishes to continue as a co-opted Trustee.
Proxy votes
In the event that Members are unable to attend the AGM in person, we would be very grateful if they could appoint a proxy to attend the AGM on their behalf since this helps to ensure that the meeting is quorate. A proxy nomination form which explains the procedure is available for download via the link at the end of this notice.
Accounts
Tayport Community Trust Director’s Report and Consolidated Financial Statements for the year ending 31st March 2019 will be presented at the meeting. A summary of the accounts may be viewed via the link at the end of this notice.
