Tourist Information

The Larick Centre is located at the edge of Tentsmuir Nature Reserve and Beach, offering a range of outdoor activities, such as wildlife walks, cycling or just enjoying the outstanding natural environment. In conjunction with other organisations The Larick functions as an outdoor activity centre and information point for visitors to Tayport and Tentsmuir Nature Reserve and Beach.

With its flexible and accessible spaces, the Larick Centre can cater for people with a variety of different needs, providing a high-quality venue for the community, for visitors, and for business.

The Larick Centre was funded through several very generous grants and donations building on the original campaign for a local sports centre led by Tayport Community and Sports Action Group for which local residents raised the very impressive sum of £55,178. Upkeep of the building and its charitable activities is funded through the commercial provision of a function venue, charging for daily and hourly use of the facilities, revenues of the café, fundraising, and charitable donations.

Tayport Community Trust is a Registered Scottish Charity (SC042558) and Scottish Guarantee Company (SC350253). TCT operates the Larick Centre in accordance with its Articles and Memorandum of Association for the benefit of the local community, and all revenues generated by its activities are applied to the upkeep and improvement of its assets and for the general well-being of Tayport’s residents.
