Last week saw the Cafe and Reception areas really taking shape with the fitting out of the serving counter and desk areas…..!
With the protective coverings now off the windows we can really see how light the Cafe area will be!

Tuesday’s repair café welcomed 10 visitors with 14 items to repair. Our 3 repairers, Luc, Trudie & Graeme chatted and repaired whilst sharing their expertise with the items' owners. It was a lovely evening and we got some great feedback.![]()
Sarah messaged us to say ‘thanks for stitching me up!’ Trudie repaired a jumper her mum had given her.![]()
Julia sent us a lovely picture of her mended sewing machine.![]()
That was wonderful, Shona - thank you to Graeme for mending my late mother-in-law's 1960s Singer sewing machine, and to you for running the repair cafe. I now have a lovely heirloom to use!
