18 Hours per week over 3-4 days per week, including occasional weekends. Fixed Term post until 31/3/16.


This is a funded position through the support of the Climate Challenge Fund.


PLANT is developing a new community growing space project based at a centrally located site in Tayport, in partnership with Fife Council. Funding which is conditional on planning consent, would be for the financial year 1/4/15 - 31/3/16. A planning application has been submitted.

Tayport Community Trust through its gardening sub-group PLANT is seeking to appoint a Community Growing Co-ordinator, who will oversee the development of the growing site, develop a growing plan in consultation with PLANT, engage and support participants and volunteers, and provide them with information and advice. S/he would establish an educational programme of workshops open to the community as a whole. The post holder would adhere to key objectives in relation to carbon reduction.

A flexible approach to working hours is essential. Please note that this post will be subject to a PVG Check.
